Services

My approach to massage is simple. I listen to what you tell me, and then I listen to what your body is saying and focus my attention according to what I learn. Since healing happens when we are in a relaxed state, my goal is to get you to a place where your brain waves are in theta or even delta, similar to what happens in a deep sleep or near-sleep.

How intense or relaxing the massage is depends on what you’re looking for. Most include some combination of the modalities listed here.

Injury Treatment / Therapeutic Massage

As someone who’s had a lot of body work done myself, I know that often when you go to an injury treatment massage therapist or a physical therapist, the session can feel more like torture than healing. That’s not how I work. For any injuries or sensitive areas, I work up to them gradually and make sure you’re sufficiently relaxed before we attempt to go deeper.

For anyone dealing with a stiff neck, pain caused by repetitive motion, sports injuries, or other complaints, therapeutic massage is the way to go. I will work with you over time to address the root causes and give you stretching techniques that you can practice on your own.

Relaxation Massage

If what you’re after is simple relaxation, I can help. This is a great way to ease both your body and your mind and treat yourself to some pain-free TLC. You’ll leave with loose muscles and less stress. My goal is to give you the best massage you’ve ever had, and get you started on the road to regenerating your body.

Hot Stone Massage

This is a great way to warm up tight muscles and accelerate the relaxation process so that I can begin working on you sooner.

Lomi Lomi Massage

This ancient Hawaiian tradition incorporates breathing, and includes an intentional focus on harmony and balance. Lomi Lomi often involves having two parts of the body massaged at the same time, such as the shoulder and the hip, and usually uses long, flowing strokes.
