About Us

On the way to my first event at the Body Mechanics School of Massage & Myotherapy, I got a sign. A huge mountain lion suddenly jumped across the road right in front of me, on a route I drive every day.  It was one of those moments that felt like the universe was telling me I was on the right path.

Helping people has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager, along with collecting mushrooms, gardening, and animals. My plan to attend massage school took a detour for a couple of decades while I explored landscape design and the world of construction, but a few years ago my wife reminded me of my original dream. After having a daughter it seemed like a good time to make a change.

The time I spent exploring other industries has defiantly paid off.  I have become strong enough to easily handle multiple massages a day. Plus all the years of making homeowners comfortable with me while I worked in their space has translated well now that I’m really working in people’s space, so to speak!

My approach to massage has the best of both worlds; a combination of injury treatment and relaxation massage. I incorporate a lot of stretching and pin-and-stretch techniques (Warning! You may leave with some stretching homework). Deep Tissue & Hot Stone massage are also parts of my tool kit, and recently I’ve been learning Lomi-Lomi techniques. I collaborate with the other practitioners at Lotus Integrated Health, which takes a holistic approach to healing. This makes it an easy one-stop shop for anyone looking for massage, acupuncture or chiropractic services.

Massage is an incredibly powerful tool to help people start regenerating their bodies instead of degenerating them. My goal is two-fold: to help you heal instead of hurt, and to give you the best massage you’ve ever had in your life! I’m not here to heal you – I’m here to help you heal yourself.

The world would be a better and happier place if all of us got weekly bodywork. If you’re ready to regenerate your body give me a call and let’s get started!
